Just wondered how many people would be interested in a Mini only track day at Oulton Park?
Probably have to be December '08 or Jan, Feb '09 as these are cheapest months to hire the circuit. Approx cost would be around £150 for full day.
I know some people prefer mixed track days as you can compare Minis against other cars, but I thought for novices (like myself) it would be less intimidating to be surrounded by Minis than feeling like your getting in the way of Elises and 911's
Any ideas/comments appreciated.

yup I'd be up for a MINI only day,

but december/feb you'll be gambling with good weather, are thinking mid week ir weekend as that makes a difference price wise. A mates just organised a saturday in june day at Llandow for £110.

Think it would be best to run it at the weekend. I know it's more expensive but more people would be able to make it. Need 40 cars to make it viable.

Another idea would be to have a MINI only session during one of Castle Combes Action Days, you need 26 cars and it's about £25 per car for the session

it's a good intro for those who don't want to shell out for a full day, you get 5 laps per session so it's not too hard on the car.

I organised one for the XR Owners Club last year and got one of the big Ford Mags down to feature it as well.
