BMW build Classic Mk1 Cooper S FIA Racer

45 photos from bigblogg.motoring linked below of the immaculate new classic FIA racer Austin Mini Cooper S Mk1 commissioned by BMW and built and prepared by Friedrich Nohl of BMW Classic Division. First outing in the UK should be at the Goodwood Revival

BMW also recently added the Works Rally Replica 363 GYP to their growing historic classic Mini collection which already includes the ex-works Mini JBL 493D as built by Richard Skidmore and featured on the cover of Miniworld in January. Rauno Aaltonen is booked to drive the car on various future historic rallies.

Some nice details there but, ohmigad, how did that tacky piece of false chequer-plate end up under the driver's feet?

Nice version as like other Mini cars. Its commissioned by BMW so its value get higher. However nice car to drive. It looks reliable and comfortable to drive.I see it on this forum first time and never see it and not know about it in the past. Its newly generated and some in formation i get about its specification from vin checker.
