Mini Mania Announces the ULTIMATE MINI CHALLENGE at Laguna Seca

Nevada City, CA (March 24, 2003) Mini Mania Inc., recognized as the market leader in performance parts and accessories for the Classic Mini and New MINI Cooper, announced today the ULTIMATE MINI CHALLENGE race, to take place at historic Laguna Seca Raceway.

Mini Challenge 2001 was the largest all-Mini race in US history, and pitted 50 Classic Mini racers against a lone New MINI Cooper, which finished in the Top 10. The event enjoyed extensive media exposure and was featured on several magazine covers throughout the US and England. Registration forms, event information, and a list of entrants will be available through a dedicated Mini Challenge website.

With two years of R&D work behind us, and many more MINI Coopers in the hands of enthusiasts, the ULTIMATE MINI CHALLENGE will be a showdown between the top race tuners in both the Classic and New MINI camps. No specs are issued for this race, and modifications allowed could be described as Anything Goes. Will the giant killerClassic Mini with decades of race experience, outstanding cornering and high power-to-weight ratio subdue the more powerful but heavier New MINI?

"Mini Mania Inc., recognized as the market leader in performance parts and accessories for the Classic Mini and New MINI Cooper" who is this that recognizes them as the market leader? Their writers? Their own staff? I for one have never considered them a market leader....90% of their stuff is overpriced stuff that you can obtain from MINI Spares in UK and have it shipped over here cheaper....on yea and get better service as well. What independant magazine has declared MINI Mania the market leader?
