I've just applied for my National B Motor Racing Licence and expect it to be completed by the end of 2003.
What do people suggest that I do next? I own an MCS that I'm keen to use but I'm not looking for championship results, just a lot of fun.

Are there any organisations for racing/rallying the new MINI? I'm very interested in hillclimbs and sprints. If anyone can help, it'll be MINI2 members!

I took the MCS to Cadwell Park in August 2003 where I spun off at 105mph and now I've really got the bug for motorsport!!

BARC - www.barc.net - Ingear Motosport Saloon Championship - Also have speed / hillclimb champ'
BRSCC - www.brscc.co.uk -Southern Saloon Cars

I suspect you will find next season quite a few ex JCC people in these championships

Thanks Racer. I've had a quick look through the websites.
I've just got to drum up some cash to get started!
I'm finding it all a bit intimidating, so I'm going to start off small and go and watch some races/hillclimbs first to get acquainted!

it IS intimidating to begin with BUT you find everybody is either in or has been in the same position and I've yet to meet an unhelpful or friendly person when racing or at hillclimbs - be brave and ask plenty of questions and you'll soon feel like a pro
