Talking My first autocross - woo-hoo!

Just got back from my first ever autocross. It was a Novice School put on by the TarHeel Sports Car Club. I'll come back later this week to post more details if there's interest, but for now I'll just say it was the most fun I've ever had with any of my cars. The Works MCS was AWESOME!!! I had instructors lining up to ride with me after they saw how well it handled in the hands of a lowly novice. I could not have been happier with the car as it is: Alta 22mm rear bar, Team Dynamic Pro Race 1s, Kumho Ecsta MX 215/45/17, Pilo intake, Carbotech Bobcat pads, and lots of air in the front tires. Everything seemed to work perfectly. Multiple instructors commented on how this car was just made for the slalom and turnaround sections of the course.

That's all for now. Looking forward to more fun like this in the future...

Scott

You'll find that it can be VERY addictive! You just might want to get a second set of wheels and tires for autocrossing as you will ruin your street tires in fairly short order.

Hi,

Congratulations

Glad you enjoyed yourself. As others have pointed out, taking your car off the street and testing its true potential it is addictive

I have a set of wheels for sale if you're interested. I've only used them for race tires so they have are a little scratched from mounting tires so many times but are otherwise straight and true. I have pictures of them on my car I can forward to you if you want to see them. $400 plus shipping and they're yours. They are the stock 16x6.5 white wheels that are OEM on the S. Multi-spoke pattern and about 17 lbs from what is listed on the FAQ section.
