...seemed a good idea before Wednesdy, so I went on an Easytrack day today, and had a great laugh. Lovely sunny day, interesting cars there, shame Racer wasn't there, but nevertheless I was able to suss the track out before Wednesday, and embarrassed a few other cars. Aren't MINI's great?!

Bravo on that manoeuvre, especially if that was a Fiat Coupe Turbo.........did he get you back on the straight ??

Cheers! But - most cars there were able to take me on the straights if they wanted, but in the corners, the MINI had just about everything. Although this guy could've pushed off into the distance if he'd wanted, he knew that over a lap I was quicker, so he did the right thing and let me pass. So it wasn't a true overtake as you might have thought, but did show that over a lap, the MINI was quicker

And according to the list of attendees, yes it was a Turbo!

+ How much petrol for a whole Goodwood day ?

Front left tyre is knackered, so I'll need a replacement on Wednesday before I go home I reckon - might as well totally waste it during the day though. Rest are ok(ish) - Goodwood is a much quicker track than Brands, with more long sweepers, so I wasn't getting as much tyre scrub as we had the other day. I know you're not keen on Goodwood (!), but it's a good track I reckon

Did 140 miles on track and used up a whole tankful. I make that about 16mpg, or what the TVR used to get on the road
