Glad to hear AndyW & Racer intend to come to Lydden. It should be a good day out.

Has anyone seen any press releases following the track day?
Keep a look out in case we miss anything and report it here.
You never know, AndyW may appear on a Flymo advert!

...and Autosport that came out today has a piccy with a caption underneath it, of us all standing round Mike Cooper's car. Worth a read in Smiths, or buying a copy if you're keeping a scrapbook I spose

Thanks for the Autosport tip Andy. Shame the photo wasn't a little larger! I wonder if we can expect some more press coverage of the track day and JCC launch.

RDJ tells me that eventually we will all get copies of the promo video of the day!

Just saw the video this morning while my suspension was being fixed (can't tell the difference now it's done, mind you

) - it's only about 10 minutes long, but v well produced with some good photography. They used the bulletcam oncar footage from your car Racer, but not mine, and there's an interview with you Stephen, some footage of both your cars (but not mine again

), and a brief glimpse of me (in shades of course

) standing by my car - fame at last!

Also (slightly 2nd hand and maybe hush hush), someone from Mini2 said that "someone who knows" said this morning that 5th Gear might be showing some of the Challenge events...could mean we have Tiff to contend with as a guest driver - uh-oh!

Good meet this morning btw - about 20 cars showed, Mike Cooper gave a talk on the history of JCW, they all had a look round the workshop (I've already done that a few times, so I passed on that bit

) and we all went off to Brighton in convoy, which was pretty cool - I had to scarper though, so they're all still there I think

No doubt there'll be piccies later.

Yeah, promo video was quite good, Andy pretty much covered it all above...

And I vow not to make any mention of Andy and his flymo tactics after being physically abused by the brute

Sorry you didn't make it - shame. But I shouldn't worry about going down there to see the video - RdJ says he's sending out a copy each to us all so we can show it to sponsors etc.

The Official Press Release for the Goodwood track day is now available on the John Cooper Works Website along with more information on the Wiscombe Park hill climb.

I have also added photos of each competitor under "Entry List and Drivers Details".
