Offline | 30 plus of us went to Castle Combe (Thanks Cooper_sport et al) and it was a great day out. Everyone should try to go to at least one event - good value tickets too. Friendly pits, and a nice atmosphere. I'm still getting over my sunburn! (And my hearings just recovered from standing too close to the 6.6 litre Stealth in the pitsd when it started up! ) |

| Jay | Silver and Black Shaun?? Nice colour combo... I don't see that much on S', only Coopers. Mini racing isnt as raw as it used to be, just take a look at the pics attached!! And yes, they are Ferraris and AC's racing against Mini Coopers ![]() [center] ![]() iCkLeJaY awaits his Mini adventure... Driving Test Yet to be passed JayT |

Offline | Interesting rear spoilers on the S's. Are they part of the JCW S kit? How many S's entered? I assume they're a different class but it would be interesting to know how close the Coopers get to them in a race. |

Offline | Thanks, Glenn - was curious as to the laptimes. Any feedback on the JCW brake kits? I continue to mistrust the brakes on my car and notice JCW are offering slotted rotors etc. Have you tried any of this? Our new rules allow me to change rotors - but not their diameter. I can't change the calipers but pads are free. Am considering going to Castrol SRF and getting slotted rotors.I'm using Ferodo DS2500 pads and the jury's still out on them.... my issues may be the fluid and rotors. |
