Offline | JCW in SW20 Anyone know who the owner of the JCW racer I spotted driving through London's SW20 is? I think it was number 4. Do they live locally, are they a MINI nut, and are they on this site?! It was around 2000HRS on the Saturday after the JCW works visit. J. |

Offline | Hi - I'm JCW Challenge car 4 & I was on my way back to town from Kent on Sunday 14th - trying to avoid the London Marathon queues! Normal route is embankment but was using south circular! Good spot on the number 4 - we taped that up but obviously not well enough! Have a look out for article coming up within next 2 weeks in the evening standard on the car written by John Bentley - doing photoshoot for this on Friday. You'll also see the car agian on TV - watch 5th gear channel 5 on Monday's - I'm doing some filming with the car this weekend hopefully and then down at Wiscombe Park Hill climb on 27th. Liz ![]() |

Offline | Re: jcw mini in SW20 Hi Liz - You looked a bit too pre-occupied when I waved, going the other way!... I used to do the SE1->SW20 drive at least twice a weekend along the embankment. Somehow I recovered my sanity and sold my SE1 pad - along with recovering an extra 4 hours to myself at weekends ![]() So do you use your JCW as a day-to-day road car then, or were you just out there showing-off?! Oh bum - First race of the season clashes with the Peaks run - Now I have to make a choice ![]() Let me guess - all the press coverage - you must be in advertising Will keep my eye on the Standard - Do you know which day you're being published? |
