There's 4 pages by one of the entrants, Chris Chilton, the mag's news editor & a good bloke - Racer & I met him at Goodwood. Nice piece about going racing in general, with emphasis of course on the JCC, and a nasty pic of Chris with no clothes on posing by his race suit - put me right off my breakfast!

Andy - good luck on Saterday. Looks like you have spent alot of time and effort on your car .. really cool. one question though - the black car you have in your galery - why you let it go? looks really cool to me in the photo - was anything wrong with it? or has the cooper got something i am unaware of ?

No, nothing wrong with the TVR Griffith - it's just that I'd had it for 2 years and been on quite a few trackdays in it, and the time had come to move on a step & go racing. But the TVR isn't really the right kind of car to go racing in (it's great in a straight line but a bit of a handful in the bends!), and the John Cooper Challenge came at just the right time, cos you get the Mini all fully race-prepared and ready to go, which suited me perfectly.
