wiscombe park, april 04

Hi,

Been meaning to catch up with the drivers who were down at Wiscombe park earlier this year (was it April?). For those that were there, I was very diligantly (I think I must have had my anorach on that day) speed trapped every car up the hill for every run in different places. I remember a couple of the drivers seemed to take an interest. I was doing it primarily because I knew I was slow in my 7 up there and didn't know where/why.

So anyway, somewhere on my computer, I have a shockingly long list of speeds recorded to name and shame many a driver. I managed to distribute this amongst the ASWMC drivers but never caught up with any of the Cooper challange drivers. So if you want to see the list, please e-mail me and I'll forward it on. I'll be very happy for it to then be re-distributed amongst any drivers that are interested, as I strongly believe that freedom of information is a sound way forward.

What I can tell you, which isn't instantly obvious. Those hooking 3rd gear before Bunny's leap were holding another 4mph over those banging the rev limiter in 2nd all the way from Bunny's to gate.

I hope there is a someone who competed at Wiscombe who reads this forum, I'll do the same at minispares forum as soon as their updated site recognises my password.

Cheers,
Glen.
