Cars that use the same size wheels??

I am looking for 16" wheels to use for autocrossing. Preferably they would be 6.5" and have about 45-50mm offset so that I don't stand any chance of being challenged relative to class. Since most wheel dealers do not know much about the Mini yet, I was wondering if any other cars use the same size, bolt pattern, center hole size, and offset. I got a price of ~$200/wheel from the BMW dealer for R84 X-lites (v-spoke).

Most likely I will have two other S's competing in my class and they both know the rules. Therefore I don't want to take a chance with 7" or 7.5" wheels.

My latest leaning is to use Kumho ECSTA V700 205/45-16" heat cycled tires. Anyone have experience with the ECSTA V700?

July build, Aug. delivery.

Thanks in advance.

VW uses the 4X100 bolt pattern... not sure if the offset is the same though.

The Enkei wheel (RP01) are next to impossible to find right now. Call Enkei and tell ask for them as thats probably the only way we'll ever see them again.
I think the new miata has an optional wheel thats 16x6.5, 4x100 but Im not sure of the backspacing. Thats the only other wheel that I could find in that size.

Miata just has a 54mm center bore requiring machinibg out to 56.1mm. Lots of others (VW) have really big bores, like 76mm. You're in the same hunt as the the rest of ourn autocrossers trying to locate that really light weight 6.5 wheel for a reasonable price. Standard Cooper wheel is probably best bet...check for-sale forum on this site.
