Anyone going to the Festival of Speed?
Rumour has it that JCW may run a car or two, with Mike Cooper and celebs.
I am going on the Sunday. It would be a good chance to meet up socially.

Sounds good fun - I will check & see if I can get a work event to come along to it too!

By the way re Lydden - r u boys getting insurance for that through the usual JCC place or does the track do a day rate cheepie one?

Don't know - might risk not getting my usual CCI trackday policy for £180 (gulp) this time. Then again, I've seen the look of determination on your face when you're on a charge

(see 5th Gear 20/5), so it might be safer to be fully insured if you're on the track too

Don't know, but check out these pics from last Friday's Easytrack airfield day - no contact with another car, no going off track, just got it wrong on the black stuff. Oops

I have got my ticket. I am going to be there on the Sunday with work. Renault are one of the organsiers I think. Even though I will be there with work I will be in the Mini!!
