During the Mini GT tour in June we went to and experienced the Nurburgring. We stayed in the 'Am Tiergarten' hotel and it it was very reasonable www.am-tiergarten.de

search on "the ring" on this forum you'll pick up te many trips we have run to the ring.

Best places to stay are the An Der Nord Hotel (right on the track - ask for Eddie), or for some night life and a very nice river, anywhere in Cochem, or if you just want a bed and superb food and beer try Der Wilhelmshohe and ask for Jackie - about 14 k of superb roads way from the Ring.
