Or would i do better to sell it privately. Thanks for any help, also what is the wait now for a cooper D. |

![]() Dooper is the dogz! | The wait varies massively depending on where who you speak to: for example, I have ordered a new Cooper D from Stratstone in Harrogate, which should arrive in the middle of May, Bowkers in Preston and Derek Woodman in Blackpool were quoting mid June, and Bateman's at Grange-over-Sands can only get Cooper Ds for November delivery!! I need my car asap, as I wrote the old one off, so went with the quickest delivery time, who matched the Derek Woodman aero kit price deal to get the sale ![]() |

![]() MINI2 Master | Always do better to sell Privately, do a search on Auto trader and see what prices second hand ONE D's are going for, the dealer will always offer lowest amount possible, you shouldn't have any problems selling as Derv's are sought after ![]() ![]() |

Offline | I got 50% of the purchase price after 3 years 9 months, which I was not disappointed with - just look at depreciation figures in 'What Car?' magazine. So reckon on something like 60% at three years and perhaps +/- 1% per month adjustment for age. Not very scientific, but broadly the case. PS. My dealer has my nicely specced, average mileage, good condition, 03 reg One D on the forecourt for £9.5k |

Offline | Hi Alfie Ive had a Dooper since last tuesday and im liking it more and more... I am going to post pics and a full review/opinion after a few more miles.. I have a lightening blue model with a black roof.. Thought I'd ordered bonnet stripes, but apparently I hadn't!. But never mind I think I looks good without them.. I'll let you decide but it's the best combo i've seen (in my opinion!), together with the bridge spoke alloys... |

Offline | Batemans pre sold throught thier allocation very quickly - us cumbrians like our diesel - were cheap. I had number 3 reserved (apparently) but released it as I decided to hold on to the OneD for another year and get it chipped |

Offline | dooper hi there, spec is pepper pack multi function steering wheel, darkened glass, piano black, chrome int. is it worth getting the protection coat ,inside and out for 350 , he said you never need to polish if you get it ! and it protects against surface scratches. we like diesels as they are usually far less trouble than petrol engines and they go forever, probably outlive the car. The one D has been absolutely brilliant , no probs at all and a really nippy motor. |

| 100 bhp over stock, | the dooper coat will last a year at best, spend 350 quid on somthing useful [lowering springs] a mate works at local ford dealer, gets about 40 quid a car to apply the stuff, which you can buy off e.bay for 20-30 quid or less, a bottle will do your car 4 times over, carefree |

Offline | Good choice, i've driven one today, and it doesn't feel any quicker than a chipped OneD. Obviously it must be quicker top end as it does 121mph compared with 113mph, but up to 70mph it doesn't feel any quicker, although the car I drove 'only' had 1800 miles on it!! |
