After browsing this forum for many years

and being married to someone who as had 7 new minis

(which may i add,i wasn't allowed to drive them)

i thought it was about time i became a member of min2 and joined in the fun

,now that i have my own mini

I just bought a 05 Mini one D then got terrified because I found loads of bad reviews, I haven't picked it up yet, what's the general opinion? I know the engine was changed in 05 and mine is the newer one...

hi

didnt know there was any bad reviews. the one D is a fine car. the engines are the same from 03 to 06. the only difference is the bhp.

I have the later 88bhp model (the one your getting) and its fine. The bad reviews no doubt came from diesel haters. Personally I'm pretty confident my car would be quicker in the real world than the petrol ONE.

Oh and by the way Welsh oneD..... Very nice car you have there, any modding plans?

please dont encourage her. Ive already had to fit a set of four spotlights to it and she has a new set of 5 star blasters wheels in the garage waiting to go on
