What mpg are you getting?

HI all,

Weve had our Mini one D for just over a month now and were really pleased with it.

Just wondering what mpg everyone else is getting?
The first tank it used did 460miles before the light came on.
The computer read 43.3mpg average which was spot on when i calculated it!

80%of the total milage was town driving so i gues it isnt too bad?
I thought it would have been nearer to 50mpg, but thinking about it
i did put my foot down a bit to test the performance

Cheers.

Hi

Sounds about right to me, we are doing about 500 miles a tank, 90% round town averaging 42ish, when we get on the motorway doing 70 getting about 57-60mpg. So much better than the old petrol fiest we had.

I'm averaging about 41 / 42 mpg on a combined cycle (inc some heavy driving). I'm glad you guys are reporting similar figures, I was beginning to think mine wasn't returning the figures she should be.

I have 17" alloys on mine and as far as i know these shave about 2 or 3 mpg off your figures, so all in all I suppose it isn't too bad?

On the motorway about 50mpg is a realistic figure for me.

Nice to see a post or two in here - the place has become a ghost town!!

Get between 51 and 56mpg - on 16"s - mostly motorway and dual carriageway daily commute - if I keep to around 68 I get 62mpg but not very often!

On my OneD, I got 53.2mpg, that was a mix of driving, town and extra urban, used to get about 560 miles from a tank, and used to fill up with 60 miles left on the range.......And I was running 17" wheels

United-Kingdom Mpg

Hi guys,

I have recorded a best ever of 68.9mpg on a 200 mile run to Mancherster, normal driving around town i get between 440 - 460 miles on a tank...

Two questions... What do you think a 53plate oneD is worth with 41,000 miles, very clean with just a few small marks on the bumpers and a couple of small dents on the roof? I think its time for a change!!!

It is white, pepper pot alloys, a/c, cd, sports seats + + Full mini service history, 8 months left on mot and is due a service II in 2800 miles.

Have any of you had your tappets adjusted at the 3 year mark? It is recomended but it seems knobody bothers with it...?

Got an new all time personal record today. I hit an average 54mpg on a 580 mile round trip to London and back over the last two days.

Impressive considering its only averaging bang on 40 driving the local lanes.

Ok, that 54mpg figure was somewhat short-lived!!

I'm now back to 39/40 mpg following a run out a few weeks ago with a load of Lancashire MINI's!!

Hi guys

50 mile round trip each day in and out of Edinburgh and I am averaging 52 mpg. This was taken over 1000 miles so should be pretty accurate.

Standard car on 15" wheels.

New Zealand Diesel Economy and fun

Black One D under the skin,
Full S pack looks, running 215 35 18's, drives like it's on rubber bands which is great on good roads but bad on poor pothole ridden ones.
travel 2 150 mile trips per week plus 24 mile daily commute and general weeekend driving.
Love to drive in the Torque and cruise when the saxo boy's are out She returns an easy 46+mpg.

Just back from a long weekend and close to 550 miles on this tank. The first 120 miles were done around town so pretty pleased! Can't bare the thought of £60 going in next fill... :-(

Computer average now up to 63.7mpg, 20% round town and 80% motorway and dual carriage way (65-70mph). I'm not driving like a granny but I'm not booting it either.
