Offline | I had my inspection 2 the other day but opted for the TLC XL package for £300. The service was gonna cost about £380 so made sense as it also incluse the next oil and brake fluid change as well. |

| MINI2 Regular | My OneD should be back from service soon...! The dealer just rang to say that they are waiting for a v-belt for the powersteering which is changed as part of the service?? other that that is is in fine health thankfully... I asked them to check the expansion bottle for the radiator as there seemed to be some coolant loss from the cap, it is known that they do loose a bit, they checked it and are happy all is well... So after a full service, brake fluid change, recent front pads, rear caliper, lower front wishbone bushes, freshly painted bonnet and bumper, new stripes and a wash it is ready for the next 15,000 miles !!! I fancy a summer drive through France now! And... I have been driving a Cooper Clubman auto for the past week, extra room is wonderful, steering more rubbery in feeling, auto is jerky, have averaged 34.8mpg over 500 miles, though town driving is more like 28mpg, front seat base a little short in length, over the shoulder visibility is very bad, dangerous even on a motorway and the fuel tank is tiny, 40 litres only!!! If you had a hard driven auto cooper or cooper s you would need to re fill every 170 miles! Overall though it is fairly nice to drive. Think the CooperD is the way to go though... Looking forward to my post service drive in mine though! |
