Offline | Mini one Diesel Tuning Chip Mini one D 75BHP Anyone fitted a plug in tuning box, love the torque on the D but runs out of guts as it gets towards 90, looking at K & N panel filter plus a chip rather than remap, this one looks interesting. c4u-digital CRD one D, check the cartuning4u website for details Saw the Exhaust change on another post, looked good. Car looks the Dogs in Black with 18's at present. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | A re-map is a much better option for strong torque throughout the rev-range along with smoothness. The P-Torque re-map for your model is £275 all in. If you have any questions, feel free to call us on 01902 324584 Cheers Will |

Offline | Mini one D Mod Just replaced 18's with 17's as I couldn't afford the fillings through the private dentist. Plus the 18's need a full refurb. Will post some Photo's later needs a major clean first. I think the one D is just as much fun around the bends just needs that little bit more, I love the torque. Fitted a pipercross filter and a Kingquick chip this weekend. Had a minor issue clamp on turbocharger failed, now fitted and gives definite benefits to pickup and general performance. Just waiting to see wht happens to the MPG See how it goes before approaching the black box vs remap dilema Last edited by mole53 : Apr 27th, 2008 at 07:13 PM. |

Offline | Has anyone had problems with overheating at 90 for a good few miles. Coming back from Southampton I was doing about 90 for a good 20miles the other day and the car temperature guage went towards the red until i came back of the accelerator. Has anyone else had these problems? I did about 75 to 80 for the red of the journey - about 180miles with no problems. I know the MINI One D top speed is 90 - could this be the reason? I was only doing 3000rpm in 6th on the motorway. Jinkster (BTW: This is a technical / performance issue thread - not one saying you should slow down a bit for legal reasons) |
