thought some of you might be interested in this article from the new york times. it talks about the mini one d debut at geneva and how europeans and americans are taking different routes to improving fuel economy. personally, i'm with europe on this. i wish bmw would bring a diesel mini to the states.

p.s. the article requires registration, but at least it's free.
