Hi there MINI people. I'm pondering a change to this excellent vehicle from a newish Honda Civic 2.0 (too tempting to rev it!) but one thing is slightly disconcerting: the price! They're asking a lot (£13,300 @ list) for the spec. I'd like. Has anyone managed to get a sensible reduction, or is demand outstripping supply?

To be honest, I just got my mini last week and there was no way I was going to get any money off.

They have an attitude at the moment that if you dont buy it, someone else will.

I think you just have to go in there with the attitude that its worth it (It is).

Not to say you shouldnt try for a bargain.

Bought my MOD in June and got a 6% discount from the total of 18.200 €

Hmm, cheaper in Germany I see! 6% is £798 which isn't bad compared with list. To do better think I'll have to encourage a relative to work for MINI in Oxford. Not impossible. Ta, Graomi and Claus
