exhaust end piece

Exhaust end piece

I have changed the end piece of the exhaust since I did not like the standard solution on the MOD.
I have put some pictures here to show the result.
It has been easy to install except for the cutting in the plastic.
I think the result is great. Looks like a Cooper but with a 7 cm diameter

Here are the pics:

Looks good

Did you notice less soot deposits on the rear bumper & boot with this exhaust ?
(or perhaps these were improved anyway, when you had your tuning box fitted ?)

I've a Pepper White with factory exhaust pipe & a fine layer of soot is noticable after around 500km ...washes off in the rain (if it rains hard enough !)

I have not yet noticed. I don't know if this is due to the powerbox, but I'm keeping an eye on it in perspective of the installation of the powerbox.

Looks very well JVP...nice job
But the soot deposites are the reason that the pipe is turned down!
I had a 318tds compact, and I did what U just did ....it really blackened the back of the car and the taillight, mind you it was silver.

Had U much work to do to get it to come out under the bumper?
If the bend is cut off, is the pipe not too high to come out underneath?

Yeah funny you should mention that I saw a GOLF 4 TDI with some fancy exhaust. It looked really good stationery(?) but when it left all the smoke went onto the body work. Silly Guy (GOLF 4) the manufacturer does things for a reason.

MINI, it is a way of life.
