| MINI2 Regular | This cant be right.... I was out in my MOD last nite, split new yday and i could keep up with a 1.6petrol focus and then come past him at about 70mph cos she just keeps pulling to 90mph(on a closed road). Neither me or my friends could believe i whooped a 1.6 with my old tractor! have i got a real fast one or are they all like this? this is even with the 17" s spokes. ![]() And another thing, once thecar gets warmed up a bit, at low revs, when the car is sitting still and idleing, ther is a rattley noise coming from the engine which goes away when i give it a we bit of throttle, sounds like its something rotating in my engine because when i switch it off i can hear it "winding" down. is this my turbo maybe? Cheers for any help ![]() |

![]() Time for CHANGE ! | It'll comfortably do 100+, but I'd wait until its run in well before attempting anything like that, as for the rattle when its idling, its a diesel, not sure about the whine though, turbo only starts working at about 1500 rpm, and doesnt really start until about 2300, shouldnt be able to hear much at all. And the power steering is not electro hydraulic, so its not that. |
