Hello from Mini newbie!

Hi everyone,

Im awaiting the arrival of my Mini One D in pepper white
Due mid october.

Im a driving instructor and the car is going to be leased on a 18month 45000 mile contract.

Does anyone know how well the newer 88bhp version will respond to tuning box/ remap?

I believe that the current spec car is usually tuned up to approx 100bhp.

Also..what is the K&N panel filter part number for the diesel? I dont want to use a induction kit because on every car ive used them on in the past they have actually lost power compared to the standard airbox setup! (due to sucking in underbonnet heat)
I notice that there is two types of filter used for the 1.6 petrol...a earlier spec retangular shaped filter and a new spec triangular one.

Cheers,

Nathan

Just ordered a completly bog standard model, no extras!!

I've already bought some new genuine 15" alloys with tyres off Ebay! Absolute bargain at 62 pounds for all four, less than 100 miles use.

Also going to fit the chrome interior ring set and cooper S badges!

That was a bargain , have you gone for the non kerb attracting variety ? .
Got sports seats second time round as I found the standard ones a bit uncomfy after a few hours.
