Has anyone here actually got the definitive part numbers and costs for the cooper (chrome) grille and the stainless steel mesh??

Ive looked on a lot of threads and there seems to be differing opinions on cost etc!!

If you get the new price brochure it has all the part numbers and prices in there.
I don't have mine with me though

upper chrome grille: 51137026202 - 50,- Euro
middle lip: 51117032900 - 17,90 Euro
bottom metal grille: 51116800138 - 15,50 Euro

all prices without vat

Just picked up my grille & mesh from the local dealership Might fit them when I get home, they look ace

Ohh yeah picked up a boot liner & order the Cooper S chrome door release things aswell

Can we have a 1-10 rating on how much of a bugger it was to fit the lower part of the grille? I really fancy doing this myself, but I wonder how much skin I am likely to lose, and how much closer to insanity I am likely to get!

I disassambled the bumper to change the mesh grille ( if you mean that )

To fit the middle chrome lip, you have to warm up the old one with a hair-dryer, so its easier to lift it up because its glued like hell with a stripe.

Anyone know how to remove the main black grille & fit the chrome jobbie

the main grille is fixed with ~10 female screws to the bonnet.
I have gripped them with a small tong and pulled them down in their
plastic-winding, so you can unscrew now with the spanner.


Dont throw away this cheapest looking screws - handle them with care as they were gold cause you´ll need them later to fix the chrome grille !
