Offline | Smiffy, The top half is easy its just held on with a couple of screws, the bottom half on the other hand is a bit more involved. I believe it's stuck on, I let my dealer loose on this one, as the chrome grille was part of the original deal - shame it took two months to fix. Still I shouldnt really complain as I got it for free! It's worth the heartache as I think it looks fantastic. I think this is my 102 post - wow! |

| MINI2 Master | I think its a shame to turn a ONE into a COOPER. Both cars have their own personalities... with the Classic Mini loads of people started doing this in the 90s and I thought it a shame too... lots of special editions and other models disappeared to get a set of minilites and white roof splashed on them... I like the black grill of the ONE and I think its quite distinctive amongst the majority of COOPERs that seem to be on the roads, here at least. I saw a black ONE with a silver roof, silver mirrors and it looked amazing without looking like a COOPER. |

| Test thread infiltrator | I think the bottom half may be a little easier to remove if you attacked it with a hairdryer (that's blow hot air on it, don't hit it with it)... Don't quote me on that though, it's probably wrong and will bubble the paint, invalidating the warranty on your suspension and make your TLC worthless... should add 10bhp though ![]() Dom |

Offline | I fancied doing the opposite of this on my Cooper, thought the black grill on black car would look good (and make it look like an S *joke*)Currently driving: Silver Volkswagen Lupo GTi, 6 speed, 125bhp |

Offline | The last thing I wanted to do was create a Cooper look-alike. I just thought the chrome grille would work better with the chrome pack! I've still got the ONE badge on the back and I'm proud of it! |

Offline | Chrome on the ONE! I reckon the chrome grill and boot handle makes the INDI Blue ONE a lot happier, and stand out more. Black is OK on the light coloured minis. I still reckon though, there is too much black on the MINI! |
