Offline | Very nice indeed Smiffy!! definately worth the money i reckon!! How did you go about taking the old one off and putting this one on? and does it fit perfectly etc? Also, did you get the stainless steel mesh? that looks almst impossible to change, albeit, without taking off the bumper!! RESPECT THE MINI!! |

| MINI2 Master | The grille is screwed on but the bolts cut the thread,if you know what I mean After the black grille is off its a straight swap for the chrome grille, exact fit When screwing the new grille in place the bolts will cut the thread on the new grille The lower grille slat is a right pain You need to heat it up & gently force it out and then remove the remains of the sticky strip, and then just place the new chrome slat in place I have got the mesh grille too, but Dshelton will be fitting that for me ![]() S for Smiffy "Kids in the front seat cause accidents, accidents in the backseat cause kids!" |

Offline | it does look worth it i think!! a bit of blood shed doesnt do anyone harm really!?! was it just awkward because its a tight fit? or was it awkward because its fixed together well etc If you find it easy dshelton, you could start up a nice litle side line!! how much do you charge for the job? or do you charge by the pint? (of blood lost, that is!!) RESPECT THE MINI!! |

Offline | My shiney front bits have just arrived and so i'm preparing to fit them tonight. I havn't got aircon so it doesn't look to hard to fit the mesh part. I notice that you mentioned heating up the lower grille section to remove it. Does the new part glue in? Shoudl I have some sticky stuff with my parts? Help. T minus seven hours until attempted installation. cheers nc Sold MINI, Bought Volvo V40 TD. I Feel Dirty! |

| MINI2 Master | When fitting the mesh grille be prepared to say bye bye to your arms The lower grille slat is held in by clips & there should also be a sticky strip on the back of the chrome jobbie You'll also need something sharp to remove the old sticky strip from the black slat ![]() S for Smiffy "Kids in the front seat cause accidents, accidents in the backseat cause kids!" |

Offline | Neil, Best of luck, I'd offer to come over and give you a hand but I'm driving a Bora TDi 150 over to see Zippy in hospital this evening. The chrome bits will look fantastic with the black paint! |
