Talking Mudflaps, Chrome Grill & Boot Handle

Had the Mini mudflaps fitted all round. Does keep it a lot cleaner!!...especially back-end. Ordered & fitted at dealer. They do look cheap looking before going on the car, but look great fitted. It gives the back end a bulkier look and they fit snuggly. The downside to all this is it cost £92 all in.The chrome grill and boot handle makes the car more elite, especially on the Indi Blue.

Yes, I enquired about getting mudflaps fitted by my dealer and he did put me off by saying that the fitting cost would be high because of the work involved - he said the rear whells have to be removed

Has anyone fitted the mudflaps by themselves ? - they are quite inexpensive to buy .

The front and back are incredibly easy to remove, you need to take the rear wheels off.

Apart from that it's just a matter of screwing them on using the bits provided.

the MINI has gone...

Did you mean remove or fit?

I will probably have a go at fitting them myself then. The roads get very dirty round here especially in the rainy season - (July to June)

It cost me £50 to have the front and rear mudflaps fitted but the idiots at the BMW garage did a **** poor job!!! I've had a look at them and any Tom, **** and Harry could have done a better job than the plonker who fitted them! All u have to do is take the wheel off then line up the mudflaps and drill the holes into the black mouldings!
I'm going back to the showroom soon to give them a good verbal bashing!!!
