Has anyone had IPOD prep done by BMW

I wanna know what you get for your money. They are quoting me 200 fitted, do you think this includes controller thayt goes on steering wheel?

Pm if anyone has had this done.

is this the ICElink thingy? or AUX line in? oh and do you mean BMW fitted for a MINI or BMW?sorry i'm a bit thick! i got my AUX line installed at the MINI dealer for £100.

how do you find your aux line??got mine fitted but they didnt do it properly grrr!!

should be in your glove compartment mate. i got mine fitted under the main console near my cigarette lighter

oh right lol well let me just think...i think you press the musical note on the left hand side of the face of the radio once or several times...keep pressing until you see AUX on the screen. could be wrong, haven't been in the MINI now for a while since I'm at uni

haha i AM being very thick! sorry. the sound itself is pretty good. better than something like an iTrip, although an ICElink is apparently much better sound quality. the AUX thing does it for me though! you can control songs through the ipod itself and is just so much more flexible
