Sounds nice as it is And it's definitely too late to change the order now, unless you want to add something like driving lights and/or stripes.

Sounds good. Might be late to change the order, but if you've got all you really think you want then why bother.

Wink

yippeee ! collecting my mini One next week !

Questions on memory options : :

1. Is the 'walk home light' activated by default or do I need to tell the dealer ?

2. Does the remote unlocking unlocks driver's door 1st and then on another press it unlocks passenger door ?

Any other options I need to consider

thanks in advance...

Well at least on mine the remote unlocks both doors at the same time. However what I found strange, well according to m,y previous BMWs, is that there is no keylock on the passengers side.

I went for the sports steering wheel with the thumb grips as I read a book saying the stock one was poor. I think the walk home light is standard. After you turn the ignition off you flick the stalk and the headlights come on though I haven't tried that for ages as I have a streetlight right outside my house.

When I press the button on the key both the doors unlock together. If I press and hold the button both the doors unlock and the windows and sunroof open.

To lock - if you have closed the windows etc one press locks the doors. There's a seperate button on the key which just does the boot.

If your windows are open if you put the key in the lock and turn it and hold it there it locks the doors then after a second all the windows and the sunroof closes.

You can opt to have the remote unlock one then the other, that's how I have it. Can be annoynig when you're not used to it, but it's a decent "anti-hijacking" feature I suppose.

Just phoned the dealer and this wil be programmed in.

Walk home light is present as default.

Also requested dealer to email a piccy of the mini on monday and also not to put dealer sticker on the back.

You can opt for different lenghts of illumination (time) for the follow me home lights, mine are set at the longest, which seems to be VERY long!

It's easy to remove. Just get your fingernail under a corner go steady and it will come off as a oner.
