Angry Chinese Torture? Hanging? Or worse?

On Thursday after finishing work at 9pm, a few colleagues (Whom I give a lift home to) and I got into MINI, about half a mile later I realised I was almost running on the rim on the rear passenger side - runflat light was flashing and colleagues were panicing when I told them I had no spare!

Anyway, couldn't find a puncture at all, so blew up the tyre and all was fine. Had no idea what was wrong but thought I'd best just get home and investigate then. One colleague suggested perhaps somebody had let the tyre down on purpose, as I do park outside somebodys house (There's no parking on the car park during weekdays at work). Yesterday morning went to work and all was fine with MINI, somebody had let the tyre down!

Finished work again at 4.30, walked to the car which I'd parked on the car park (Weekends, I'm allowed on!), and there MINI was, back passenger tyre down again and the front one half-down - with dustcap missing!

Security had no idea who it was and weren't willing to co-operate, mainly because "the cameras don't point to the car park" - Idiots!

So - when I find out who is doing this, what should I do? Smack them? Run them over? Suggestions?

No, only mine.

Although I'm the only one that parks outside this particular persons house - I think a drive by MINI-ing might be needed if it happens again!

you've taken a parking spot used by another and this is their not so subtle way of getting you to not park there? *shrug*

move the car ...if it continues to happen alert authorities ; they won't do anything but it'll be on record . note who is now using the space. see if their tires are being let down . if not (probably them ) if so then you both report it . then you hide the camera ......

Either smear a little bit of dog poo on your valve caps or get some of these......

They're made by Richbrook so they're high quality and they work. (Just don't lose the little widget that undoes them!)

I second what Si Bradbury says about the richbrrok dust covers. Fantastic invention (better than their first attempt) and solved my issues with the valve caps.

It was acceptable in the 80's

Thanks Root Ginger. Just remember kids, when fitting any kind of metal valve caps, smear a little copper grease (any grease is better than nothing) on the thread to stop them seizing! (my Blue Peter top tip lol)

Put some sort of substance that is corrosive to skin on your valve caps. Much more satisfying.

wire up your valve caps to the battery (probably imposible to do but would be funny to see someone get an electric shock when they try and let your tyres down!
