Offline | not really, coilovers are set to the hardest setting so its a bit bumpy but doesnt really scrub, only when driving a bit agressively! im gonna raise it up a bit though, it skips a bit with it being so hard n low!! |

Offline | In many cases that may be true, but the MINI One is possibly unique in the gains that can be achieved on a normally aspirated 1.6. This is simply due to the amount by which the power/torque output is artificially restricted by the ECU on the standard car. See my post here. The best £300 you can spend on a One, IMHO ![]() Nice car BTW Black_mini_one, looks mean ![]() |

| Eat my dust. | Looking good - I'd get rid of the orange side repeaters though, clear ones look much better! The colour coding will really finish it off. ![]() Scrogg - where are you from? I saw a nice colour coded Checkmate in Burnley the other day. Now driving a 2006 Brabus Roadster Coupe PW/B Cooper S Works has gone to its new home! |

Offline | I have a one and would be tempted to get a Bluefin, a few questions though. I looked on the website and it also showed a superchip, is the bluefin better? How will it affect my warranty, going for services etc? does insurance increase quite a bit? Cheers |

![]() Extra 3 Inches | Bluefin is made by Superchips, so they are the same thing. Basically a plug 'n' go software update for your ECU that you can install/uninstall at will with the handset they send you. The car's original settings are stored on the handset if/when you want to reinstall them. Superchips warranty anything that can be proven to have been affected by their software, so don't worry too much about the MINI warranty. As for servicing etc, just uninstall the software before taking the car in to the dealership. |
