Offline | Are there any bog standard cars out there? As it says above. A Mini without any options or modifications whatsoever. I think I saw one the other day, but it had metallic paint, so perhaps that doesn't count. Couldn't spot anything else that looked faintly optional. It was actually quite nice to see on that hadn't been blinged to hell. |

| Eat my dust. | There's a LY One driving around these parts - no chromeline, no spoiler, steel wheels... can't comment on interior options, but it does look very, very standard. How anyone can order a MINI without ticking at least half of the boxes, I'll never know. ![]() Now driving a 2006 Brabus Roadster Coupe PW/B Cooper S Works has gone to its new home! |

Offline | I saw a very, very standard CR/W cooper a couple of months back; steel wheels and all......that said; I was infact very suprised, as it looked great!!! I think it's because it was one of the pre-04 facelift variant's and was one of the very early models; it had a very classic/sophisticated look about it; I think it's these sort of mini's that will be the collector's item's of the furture. |

Offline | Loads around Milton Keynes - suspect the majority are company cars and if not are driven by "middle-aged housewives" (apologies to any MINI2 members who fall into this category, but who obviously also love their cars; rather than seeing them as "transport" or a "shopping vehicle") .![]() |

Offline | That's what I thought too. But how many "collectors" will resist the temptation to leave well alone? I'm not knocking this kind of thing, by the way. If it's a Mini, any Mini, it's fine by me. |
