I am starting this threat really to find out what people generally do to the mini one.

I bought mine because of the insurance appeal and it had quite a bit fitted from factory.

I have just bought an aero kit, spoiler, mirror caps, exhaust trim. But I recon am going a bit crazy and need to slow down, what has everyone else done? So I can check I am not going well overboard.

Mod it up...

Air filter, Bluefin, and wheels...

make it your own by adding something no one else has

spent 8 k on mine if not more! to much to mention, wheels, aerokit zorst etc etc

done nothin to the engine..... but have added a whole lot of PINK!!!!

Am getting some stuff from lohen to take it up to 130bhp but can't decide what alloys to get, i like the all black effect but don't want to over do it. whats ur output like ? and how did u all reach that?

Hi there,

Well you have purchased a really really good looking body kit to make it bit more sporty, i think you are makeing the right move by going to lohen, i get my mods through minimania! i would recomend getting MiniMania lowering springs and Exhaust manifold, i havnt had my manifold fitted yet, but my mate had his put on yesterday and its made quite a noticable difference to the way the car is to drive, and the torque has increased nicely, it now pulls alot harder when he boots it!

Plus it makes a nice sound!
At the mo my car is running 125bhp ish, but once i have put exhaust system and manifold it should be round the 140ish. going to get it rolling road tested!

What does the 130bhp pack include? Also does anyone know the bhp difference between the superchips bluefin remap and the lohen bluefin map?

lohen fit new spark plugs and an air filter ( i am opting for a vyper induction kit as well) with the bluefin. sounds sweet on your car I think i will wait till after chrissy to see what else I can do

Ive done loads too, pretty much cant do much more so ive decided to stop modding for now

Plus in the long run you dont really get all the money back you spend

Worth it though

I was worried about that, but looking at it you can remove most parts and re-sell or put on a newer mini (unless its the new shape). I was worried about modding the engine until I realised how fast it would go up to.

Right got my mirror caps, rev counter retro fit, spoiler, aero kit, loehn LO1 kit, exhaust round cooper tip, diamond bright (for that extra protection). what next, I recon 17" bullets and 2 front mini lamps.

still open to any ideas for upgrades and internal mods?
(also bored out my mind at work can you tell?)

i would keep going!!!

, i can also see why people buy the mini 1 over the cooper.... the mods are endless lol. and when you get bored you can move up to a MCS

upgrades i would go for bluefin,suspension, wheels and zorst.
