wheel badge, help!

Hi there,

Im a virgin to the forum but recently bought a Mini One and in the first couple of days the Mini badge in the centre of one of our wheels has either fallen off or been pinched! Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement?

Thanks

Jo

Thanks for the reply. I think I may have just found some on ebay but i'll also call our local dealer in the morning to see if they have them too.

Cheers

Welcome to MINI2 Joel.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Your dealer will sell them and they're really cheap. I ended up buying spares just in case.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I've never been part of any forums before but Ive heard so much about all the nice mini enthusiasts out there and thought it would be good to get involved. I want to give my Mini the best start in life (as sad as that sounds) so hope to soak in all the advice and hints on the forum so thanks in advance for any more bits of mini wisdom you pass over.

Thanks Minonesam, that’s very kind, but I managed to get one yesterday from our local Mini dealer. Its one of these adhesive badges so hopefully it doesn’t fall off again!

Quick question: I’m not too sure whether I’m being over-sensitive about the sounds in our recently bought Mini One, but there seems to be a slight 'shoooosh' noise when breaking for about the first 5 minutes of a journey. Now, I don’t know if this is the Mini waking up or whether the break fluid desperately needs changing as I have also realised that it is overdue a change. However, in our past car, I don’t think we changed the break fluid once and it we ran it for about 30,000miles. Any clues would be great??

Cheers
