| I smell a Works clutch... | How much should i be paying Im looking for a mini one, preferably in chilli red i dont really want to spend any more than £9000 I want low mileage and a decent specification, salt pack aircon or sunroof, wheels arent important as these can be easily changed for 17" Bullets or S Spokes the first question i wish to ask you all is: Where to buy from? 1) Franchised MINI dealer 2) Private Dealer 3) Private Buyer I know the advantages of the mini cherished scheme, they all come with 12 months warranty and are checked to make sure the mileage is genuine and it hasnt been in any accidents. as far as i know if it needs anything it gets it sort of thing Ive found a decent mini one in a local mini dealer, £8495 for a 2003 indi blue one with low miles a salt pack, 15" 8 spoke alloys, panoramic glass roof and a CD player, is that about right for this car or would i be better looking to buy privately? I think that personally at least when you buy out of the franchised dealer you get the full support and backup from the people that know them best Whats everyone else think? Thanks |

Offline | Its up to you really. I would go private and try and get as new as possible then they will still have warrenty anyway. The 54reg and upwards are better cars (facelift, better gear ratios etc.) but these might be out of your budget. I sold my MINI One privately for £8500 last September, it was a 53 reg One with full Cooper S bumpers, areo kit spoiler, 6 CD changer, 17" alloys, half leather sport seats. I think thats too much but its up to you if you want the security that comes with paying the price for a cherished car. Good luck in your MINI search! |
