| Mr Tickles | black rims look sweet on a silver mini i think diamond cut edges on the alloys seem to corrode an awful lot when the salt gets at them, so maybe something to consider the John Cooper Works 105's look good on a nice modded one, you can get those in like a diamond cut and black finish or all black would you be selling your S Spokes by the way? if so any ideas on how much you would want Mark |

Offline | As you are asking for opinions, I'd never put 17" wheels on a One anyway. They are just too heavy and too wide to suit the power available. I'd want to make your One a fine handling, quick and agile car by fitting some high quality, light weight, 16" wheels, with tyres no wider than 185 (or 195, if you really must!) You did ask! ![]() Tigger. ![]() I'm back!! AND I'm not going to be intimidated! ![]() For sunshine, fun and Cornish Pasties: New MINI Kernow Cornish Oggy Run 2009! |

Offline | I'd put the 16" wheels pretty much in the reverse order that you have there! I wouldn't fit the 17's. Here's a photo I saved a couple of years ago. I can't remember who the MINI belonged to, or what the wheels are, but it does show that 16" wheels can look good on a MINI ![]() Now I've looked at the photo again, they are genuine Minilites Now that is understated class for you! ![]() ![]() I'm back!! Offline | But, as the S Spokes are a distant immitation of the original Mini's Minilites, wouldn't it be classier to get the real thing and have a light wheel at the same time? Just a thought.... | Pure Silver Batman | Alrite Mate, Here are some pictures of my Car, just thought i'd post some seens its an ALL PS with Black aftermarket wheels on it ![]() I went for a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's..all in all only for the large offset required for my brakes though. I would possibly go for Mini's Bullet wheels powdercoated Gloss Black/Anthracite ![]() OR even powdercoat your S spokes!![]() ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Well I used to want the Team Dynamics 1.2's, then realised everyone had them and they were gonna cost me quite a bit For Byrnie, they make the Team Dynamics 1.2's in black with a silver lip, which is what you said you wanted...And I agree, your car looks lush RyanK, very tastefully done ![]() ![]() |

| heavy foot = light wallet | problem is 16s look to small for the arches and 185 tyres would not look to hot either. 17s look all right on coopers, unfortunately the one suspension does not seem to like them, I had a fat gap at the front when I first fitted my s-spokes. Im getting 18s next month though because the way its drives in minimal to how much better it looks e.g. Ryan’s car compared to a one on 15s no aero kit and skinny tyres...... s spokes with eibach pro springs would look cool though |

Offline | Like I said, as byrnie20 asked for my opinion, I'd want to "make (byrnie20's) One a fine handling, quick and agile car" by going for light, narrow(ish) 16" wheels. If good looks are more important than agility, performance and handling then that's equally valid; it just depends on your, mine and byrnie20's priorities ![]() ![]() I'm back!!
