Offline | Thanks everyone. It took me a long time to decide. Anyway, this is the first thing i have done to the car. Atm nothing is important to be done apart from mudflaps lol. The larger wider wheels are kicking up so much dirt is is crazy so mudflaps first then an R50 badge for the front lower grill. Then after that i will get some clear side repeaters, chrome bulbs then I am putting halo headlamps on the car and an OEM aero spoiler then im done for a while Thanks for everyones feedback. When i got the wheels done i past alot of other mini drivers and was sitting at roundabouts beside them and alot of them either gave me a thumbs up or wound their window down to say nice wheels. lol so it means alot |

Offline | infact hugo, have you seen the halo headlamps in halfords?? they can be put on properly and connected up properly with the proper relay and battery power etc or you can have it connected to the battery with a three way switch for the halo or halo + light. And to everyone else, who has halo headlamps? and also, what is the best way to clean aftermarket wheels, i refuse to let them get dirty, and does brake dust repellent work? sorry for all the questions lol Colin-- |

Offline | I use Poorboy's Wheel Sealant (recommended by Detailing World) and the brake dust just washes off with no effort. One thing I'd say is if you're going to wax them and need to get them clean before you do so, don't use any acid-based wheel cleaners. There are some natural products out there (often citrus-based) that will disolve the brake dust. My advice would be to head over to Detailing World and have a search as you'll find that everything has been asked and answered. ![]() |
