Offline | Newby yellow mini owner:o)))) Hi!! I have just bought my first mini and im loving it!! I have just traded in my Mitsubishi Colt CZ2 which was a lovely car,but this is something else...... cant stop going out and looking at it )I have had a chrome boot strip fitted prior to delivery and had the front window tints removed...... i am still unsure about the exhaust which I think (my BF told me) that it has the middle box missing....it sounds like an impreza at the minute which draws the attention of chavs far and wide!! think i like it though!! weird..... ...... I want to change the wheels for some white 17" original multi spokes eventually...3 out of 4 of these tyres are not run flats so im a bit nervous. Im gonna get some chrome mirror caps shortly and maybe a new grill. Will post some pics when i have posted 5 times ) Nice to meet you all |

Offline | thanks Mark, what do you think about the exhaust sounding like an impreza..... im not sure about it, think it ruins the mini thing....but a part of me likes it....... it is quite a big bore which i used to laugh when i saw the corsa's etc on the roads |

Offline | killer im looking for an honest opinion so thanks for being honest lol im of two minds myself....... just had a guy stop me at the garage saying that he normally expects a middle age woman to get out of a mini.....not a beautiful young thing like me!! i didnt know whether to laugh or tell him i was trying to be retro by buying a mini, so i didnt have to sleep with a 40 year old man D |

| Pure Silver Batman | Very Nice Mini, I can imagine the difference from the Colt! In my opinion get yourself some White Bullets! They are the muts nuts and look ace on yellow Minis. Just get yourself some white side repeaters first, they are a must! About the bluefin, you have to have it. It feels like a Vtec kicking in after 4000rpm . I think your boyfriend would like it too.![]() |

Offline | Thanks Ryan, the colt felt like it was going to fall off the road going over 40mph.....it was quick though for a 1.3.... can tell difference immediately. Which ones are the white bullets? how many spokes etc? the only reason i was looking at the 17" multi spokes was that a friend has 4 for sale with virtually new run flats @ £200 in perfect cond..... My boyfriend was the one who suggested the bluefin, hes about to have his S3 remapped and thinks id like mine doing aswell...bluefin doesnt look as permanent as the remap |

Offline | Lovely car What a fantasic looking car! Enjoy !(PS I'm not sure if I understood your earlier post correctly in that you have 3 non run flat tyres, which implies that your fourth wheel has a run flat. I'm not sure if mixing tyre types like this is a very good idea, no doubt someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly ) |

Offline | thanks Seldom the tyres were all virtually brand new, when the garage did a PDI? on it they decided to change one of the tyres.....and replaced it with the run flat...... gonna change them soon though because i want originals on it. I am getting a whirring noise from the back at the min though, gonna wait till i get the new alloys to see if its the tyres that are on, my BF thinks it could my rear bearings because its louder than tyre noise he says? |
