United-Kingdom My ONE's 0-60, I've just bought a Bluefin!!!

Just timed my 51 Mini ONE:

0-60 = 10.18s

I've just purchased a Bluefin from Lohen, what improvement can i expect to get?
Has anyone got their 0-60 times Bluefin or Standard?

(So everyone knows my time is accurate and was taken on an average travelling down the same flat road, no wind, both directions)

What did you rev too in each gear as a matter of interest?

I did a 0-60 last year, with one other person in the car to time it and got a time like 9.5/6. Then again it may of been measured wrong. Although i raked it to 60 in second gear as it accelerates smoothly up to that speed without losing power.

i think 6000prm is supposed to be the best time to change, managed to get a 9.8 outta mine (2 people aswell) with bluefin, was a slight uphill gradient but not sure i could do much better...without it, it was 11 dead...

When i had my Mini One, i got 7.9 seconds 0-60.

But i did have, bluefin, iridium plugs, pipercross viper induction kit, M7 tuning 58mm throttle body, MiniMania exhaust manifold and a Miltek cat back exhaust. but i did that with heavy 17" wheels on but with a MiniMania short shift gear change kit, i was revving it round to the 1st bit of the red line, but it would wheel spin going into second!

I really really wish i had taken that car up to santa pod before i got rid of it!!!

I used to love pulling away from my mates with Mini Coopers.

I can honestly say that mine is in the 8.5 - 9 second mark. All I have is bluefin and Milltek cat back. Always run on v-power though if that helps lol.

I have had several races i.e 'plays' along motorways with my car. I have played with and won against a 55 plate Cooper, my mates 1.5 Mitsubishi colt (non turbo), MK4 polo GTI (until he changed into 3rd), Fiat panda sport and a Fiesta zetec S.

Im not trying to brag that I race people, but when I come off a roundabout on the dual motorway I tend to accelerate up to the limit as soon as I can

It will be very close, you will only pull away a little bit at a time towards the end of every gear.

lol its fine, small engines need to be revved hard to get a good amount of power out of them, its good for it to give it a boot every now and then, as I'm sure none of us absolutely cain it every time they get in their mini. Even better if you run on super unleaded
