Angry Friday car quality (ie lack of quality)

I bought a MINI ONE after my wife died of cancer. Money was given to me. Love the car, hate the lack of build quality.
New Sept 2002. By 4000 miles it had spent 3 days in garage getting warranty stuff done, and on the last visit it developed a new problem in the hands of the mechanic. My last 3 cars ran for 130,000 miles with LESS warranty work in total. Issues:
Central locking engaging when driving off, but never disengaging. deactivated.
Car pulls to the left (I have Cooper suspension). New suspension parts fitted. Still pulls to the left.
Had problems engaging 4th + 5th gears. Self sorted. Not the case with 1st + 2nd that are still a problem.
A total of 5 separate rattles and squeaks. Three sorted (I hope) 2 not.
Upgraded radio cassette faulty- replaced.
Airbag warning light on for no reason.
Noisy electric PAS and rear wiper solenoid switch.
Drivers seat appears to go back to normal when it's been tilted, only to click in place when driving.

I could go on. I have to decide whether or not to ask BMW to replace the car under the sale of Goods Act, or give them a last chance to fix the problems and see if I need to do this after.

I've no real faith in the build quality of this car. Sad.

Exchange

After complaining and saying I could no longer live with this car, BMW agreed to replace the car in under 2 weeks. A brilliant result, replacing some of the lost faith I had in BMW. Needless to say I hope the new one will be OK!! Thanks BMW.
