United-Kingdom Dirty

Had my Mini one a week and a half. Just beginning to get the hang of it, liking it more and more.

However I have cleaned it twice already and it's covered in crap again. Has anybody got mini mud flaps fitted? Do they look crap? Do they work?

cheers

John

quick answer - yes they look crap & no they don't make a great deal of difference. Cars with vertical rears suck the crap onto them in a vortex. Can't beat physics!

I've got the MINI One spoiler and front & rear mudflaps. I think they look great.

Each to their own. I've got the mudflaps and think they look the part - as well as help prevent kicking stuff up off of the road they're probably most useful to the car behind you.

Most comments from those who don't like them say that they spoil the shape of the car from the back, but to me they finish it off a little better by seeming to extend the sills.

Like I said, each to their own though. Another bonus is at least you don't see many MINI's with the flaps.
