no no no, silly silly and stupid answer. My air filter, exhaust lowering springs and chip havent lost me my warrenty, they know i have it all, my car has been in to the garage many times with the (www.scotland.superchips.co.uk) stickers on my back side windows! and they don`t say anything as like i have said many times here b4 they cannot physically prove that there is a change to ur car (for the chip) and for air filter etc i had a guy called out to my car cause clutch failed, he said air filter may ruin my warrenty, i then persisted to laugh at him then say look buddy, there aint no chance in hell that my air filter REPLACEMENT is going to remove my warrenty, i said i`l convert it back when service comes around but no bloody way is it going to void my warrenty! you just have to seriously stick up for yourself around BMW dealers etc cause they are all in it for the money, not to help out a £10,000 car owner they only look after their £50,000 M5 owners, so next time u want to mod up ur car think, is this mod going to be better or worse for my cars performance and reliability, and air filter exhaust etc is going to do NOTHING to ur car`s reliability except make it better as they are perform. parts and suit the car better for faster speeds

the best manifold through to back box is janspeed, but will always require cat because of management light will come on if there is no cat present, so janspeed have a sports cat out too

Warranty seems to be up to the dealers. When I picked up my car the salesman pointed out and went over some statement in the booklet that the warranty would be invalidated if the car was modded.

Now I'm sure that re-chipping the car will not invalidate your corrosion warranty BUT if something were to go wrong with the engine then they could blame that on the added burden put on engine components.

Mods - Cooper S pedals, Cheqered interior mirror, chrome side repeaters

must be cause the car cause me alot of problems before i got it modded, to be honest it hasn`t caused me as much bother since i chipped it etc! but either way modd your car if thats what you want to do, it`s only a choice Dom is cool don`t think they went bust but if so the exhaust is still available and highly recommended (they were first company to release a twin tailpipe(twin back box) for mini ONE)
