Dark Silver Lights

I have a Mini One that is 4 months old and one of the inside reading lights and one of the rear lights have stopped working. Do you think it's just the bulbs if so is this normal and is it covered by warranty.

Thanks for replys in advance.
Sam

have you tried to do a reset?

if not then do try it, it should be in the manual, but it basically involves you holding the button on the light in for about 6 seconds till the light flashes then all should be ok

If that doesn't work then might be worth contacting MINI assist to advise you or your dealer.

since when have you posted in threads that are not in OT&B?? are you just bored and following everything I have posted in today??

it is not confirmed that the bulb has gone

that is why reset was suggested by me as it is a problem I had on my car, at the time it was MINI assist that helped resolve it with a simple call to them. They are always happy to advise and will soon say if it needs to go in to be checked out, and after only 4 months I would expect more life from a bulb if it had failed, but it could also be other things, so would be expecting this to be sorted under warranty wouldn't you?

Something seems afoot there. Take it to the dealers and they should replace/fix it under warranty. Two lights to fail in 4 months is not to be expected.

MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime
