I ordered my mini on Tuesday, was told it should arrive mid Feb so it would be here in plenty of time for me to pick up on March 1st. I called the dealer on Saturday to add a few things to the spec... do you think I will still be able to collect my car on March 1st, or have I totally put back the delivery date by adding stuff later on?

Should still be ok to change spec before it goes into production, which is about 2-3 weeks before scheduled delivery

Don't hang about, do it asap

shouldnt be a problem ,depends where the car is in production and what you have changed, i think most people on here changed the spec of their cars more than once! me included.

My MINI is due at the end of the month. I called on January 5th as I wanted to add the rear spoiler option and it had already gone into production, or so I was told. After a lot of arguing, they agreed to fit the spoiler at the dealer when they get the car at factory cost.

The moral of the story is: if you want to make changes, do it sooner rather than later!
