Hi guys, i thought i'd post a message to say hi since i'm a forum newbie.

I'm taking delivery of my brand spanking new Mini One on Monday!! I've included specs in my sig - what does everyone think?

I'm planning a few additions to the spec over the next fornight but am trying to decide what to get first, after viper stripes. I'll be fitting some decent alloys sometime in the near future as well.

My wife has the 15inch 7 hole wheels and they are excellent especially since they don't have the runflat tyres! Good spec.

Nice spec! Ordered my Indi Blue One last Saturday, 3 month wait for me! Looking forward to seeing your gallery, especially the viper stripes as I fancy them ... what colour will they be?

Looks like a very nice spec

The only thing I'd change is the 7-hole alloys, which I'm not mad on, but it's what you like at the end of the day. My MINI One is due next Thursday; I'm so excited!

Yeah, i'll be fitting the viper stripes sometime after delivery. I'll probably get the silver vipers. I've waited aggesss for my Mini but not long now - Monday 26th!!!

It would be lovely in the very short summer we have, but I think it's very expensive when you think just how short our summer really is!

air con...in uk....not worth it imo. Unless he meant the ASC+T??

Oh it is, try having full leather on a hot July day!!!! air con is a must! as far as resale value goes aswell.

The Uk is getting warmer each year - (january & temps of 12 deg C) - you also you a/c in the winter, excellent for demisting and keeping the moisture down. And then there is the re-sell factor. AC is probably the the NO.1 option. ask any car dealer.

In addition to my Mini One spec i'm thinking of replacing the factory-fitted alloys with something more decent. One problem though - i'm kinda limited to £1000 budget at moment. Can anyone suggest some really good alloys +tyres to suit this budget. Is there somewhere which does alloys +tyres in some really fantastic package deal? I'm considering second-hand - anyone out there selling their old alloys? I'll probably just get 17"...

I prefer to keep mine firmly shut, set the climate to 16 deg c when the temp outside is 28plus. and enjoy watching peeps with there windows down sweating like pigs, while I chill, in the cool breeze listening to some smooth vibes, holding the traffic up!
