For some reason my mini sounds like a diesel, it may just be my imagination but it is a little noisy, I'm not sure wether it is just a mini noise or not. It seems to be at it's loudest when it's coasting. Does anyone else have this problem, or are they all the same?

Doesn't sound good, in what way does it "sound like a diesel"?

it sounds like something rattling and scraping at the back, it's very hard to desribe a but i have spoken to the dealer and they are going to take a look at it. Probably not a good comparison to say it sounds like a diesel!

never noticed my self

there is a quite a bit of induction noise on the mini maybe it's that??

I'm quite positive it's not a One D, if it is it's running well on unleaded!!
Let's hope it's nothing too bad as anytime without my precious isn't good!

think you should book it in!

who's your local dealer? i use altwood tring. they're great for warranty work.

It's booked in at Gerrards cross, I didn't realise there was a dealer in Tring, I am based in
Croxley so not that far from you!
