Hi , first time at this site and I have been intrigued by some people's build dates they have been given.

I placed an order for a mini one on the 15th March , (deposit paid)...and was told that it would be 8-10 weeks before delivery. I was told that I should get a call at the beginning of April with the "rough" delivery date, but as yet I have heard nothing.

I have seen people with dates of 25th May (roughly my date) - when was their order made?

Should I start calling them ???
Any thoughts , and ideas of the waiting list would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the site

Spoke to my dealer on the weekend & he said there was a 2 month waiting list for a Cooper

But he can get a ONE in a few days depending on spec

he even pinched a ONE from NEO's dealership whilst NEO was on holiday

My dealer is Rydale of Cardiff

Hi, welcome to the site. You are not a million miles away from me, I live in Bishops Stortford. My replacment mini one was ordered a couple of weeks ago and it is estimated to be here about the end of May.

Well - I'm feeling really hard done to now! I placed my order at the weekend (6th April) and I've been told my One won't be here until mid August!!!

Reckon I need to have a word with my dealer - I'll probably be popping in soon to change the spec anyway

.

Maybe they're just trying to surprise and delight me when the car turns up in June???

Penkers, I'd go to another dealership, you should be able to get a One much quicker than that. If you say you'll go elsewhere your dealer may be able to swop one of his Cooper allocation for a One with somewhere else, or something.

Put my order in with Sytners in Leicester at beginning of Feb and was given a delivery date of Mid May. However got a phone call that a cancelled order with my exact spec (Air con, Salt Pack, Alloys, Silver Metallic( was available on 24th April and did I want it. WHAT DO YOU THINK!

Two weeks to go! Can't wait.

I was told that Cooper orders were now backed up to October!

Spoke with dealer at the weekend and although not they have not given me a definitive delivery date , they have assured me it will almost be definitely the end of May. They say they don't normally get a date until two weeks before it is due......so time to be patient!

I was told 6 to 8 weeks (hopefully) back in March but I opted for a ready built car that matched my spec. Glad about that now .Just heard about waiting times up to september from my dealers.
Also heard this was due to factory making Lots of left hand drive models???
