It seems like black Mini's are bad luck, I saw a Black Cooper with the front smashed in at a local scrap yard.

It seems to have come through OK, but I'm a little concerned that the hatch/boot seems to have sprung open.

The doors seem to have stayed closed (good), but I don't see where the side airbags went off. Does the MINI ONE come with side airbags as an option, perhaps?

Yes the ONE does come with 4 airbags as standard

Can you imagine nipping down to your local MINI dealer with the parts list for that one?

Bearing in mind how long Apial waited for his headlamp, you'd probably be looking at end of 2003 before you got hold of the panels.

As for the "popped" tailgate, that'll just be the little known discomfort opening feature on Car Memory.

by the way the air bags are in the sides of the seats

I have to confirm that black MINI's are jinxed i have had a man in a saab reverse into me a tile from the roof at work fall on it, a peice of large plastic scrape the roof
