Hi all,

I took delivery of my new Mini One yesterday and it's fantastic! But, i'm having difficulty getting it in my garage as the car is quite wide and my garage is narrow. Is it possible to fold the exterior mirrors, I have read the manual from cover to cover, nothing about the mirrors is mentioned. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes it is possible to fold the exterior mirrors, just push them in. They may be a little hard at first but yep they do fold in

Yes you can fold them, it is a little awkward feeling when you do it but don't be scared.

The mirror pivots at the point where it joins to the bracket on the car. if you grip it around there and then pull the outside edge in towards the car.. should work

In the manual for my very early ONE, it mentions a (non-existant) button for electrically folding in the wing mirrors. All this and (non-existant)adjustable map lights too! And there's a picture of the semi-mythical glovebox!

Folding mirrors are Japanese spec
Glovebox is American/Canadian standard and I think maybe Jap spec (option) also.
Gloveboxes are refrigerated too!! seems some people get all the toys!!

No glovebox as yet for the folks down under.
Rumour has it their sticking a barbie in the boot though.

The boot? No, you've got the wrong end of the car!

Apparently the barbie is under the bonnet, complete with flames and smoke.

And then the the fire brigade comes on over to share cooking duties.

(the factory mistakenly sold the Oz barbie prototype MINI to some guy in the UK -- or so I've read recently!

MiNiGuy Have any RHD cars had a glovebox fitted?

So Ken playing the field, Hope Cindy worth it, Barbie not going to be happy.

Ps you can keep the prototype,

as the UK summer is staring and you will need the BBQ for some great outside cooking.
